Best SAT Prep Classes in India

The SAT is scored out of 1600. A good SAT score is a critical piece of undergraduate application in the US, and at some universities in Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Middle East. More so for students applying from India, high SAT scores are almost a must to be considered for Ivy League colleges and top universities in the US. If you are choosing among the best SAT prep classes in India, compare the pedagogy, the fees (including GST), and their past record. Some SAT prep classes offer Free demo classes.

The Top 5 best sat prep classes in India often include: Career Launcher, Jamboree, IMS Manya (The Princeton Review’s partner in India), Manhattan Review, and SATPrepIn. SATPrepIn and Jamboree, for example can cost a fraction of good US private tutors at $50 to $100 an hour, and both consistently have students in the high 1500s. The hours and fees below are updated as of 2026.

Export of services does not attract GST. If you are paying for SAT Prep classes in India in USD or other currencies (apart from Rupee), be sure to ask for a no GST price. If you choose to pay using bank accounts in India, you may need to pay 18% GST on top of the quoted fees.

Career Launcher

Career Launcher runs the SAT beside CAT, GMAT, and GRE. On the classroom page they still spell the name as “Scholastic Assessment Test.” The method they print is Concept, then Application, then Testing: a video before class, the class itself, then doubt-clearing and an error log.

The private program is entirely one-to-one and live online. It is 60+ hours, 2,500+ practice questions, 5 official-style full-length mocks, recordings, unlimited one-to-one doubt-clearing, separate mock analysis with Verbal and Quant faculty, a score-improvement session, and a boot camp before the test date. The price on that page is ₹1,60,000 before tax. GST is added at 18%, so the private program totals ₹1,88,800. They also price the sections separately: Math private tutoring is 35+ hours at ₹85,000 before tax (₹1,00,300 with GST), and Verbal private tutoring is 45+ hours at the same ₹85,000 before tax.

The group options run longer. Live online classes are ₹55,000 before tax (₹64,900 with GST) for 65+ hours, the same 2,500+ questions, 5 adaptive mocks, recordings, and doubt-clearing in a Telegram group. Classroom comprehensive is ₹75,000 before tax (₹88,500 with GST) for 66+ hours. The classroom page adds 7 full-length adaptive mocks, 10+ hours of topic workshops, and 100+ video lectures. The checkout card for that classroom product lists 5 mocks, so verify the mock count when you register.

Named faculty on the SAT pages include Mayur Tyagi (Verbal; he names a student at 1570 with 770 Verbal) and Abhishek Dey (Quant; BSc Mathematics, Delhi University; he also teaches CAT, GMAT, and GRE). Published student scores on the page span 1490 to 1580, including Vedika Pillai at 1580 and Divyansh Jain at 1570 with 800 Math.

Jamboree Education

Jamboree has taught the SAT since 1993, in India and Nepal, and the SAT page opens with “the highest number of 1500+ SAT scores since 1993.” Faculty follow one method across centres. Parents join a group with the student, the instructors, the centre manager, and a service representative, and that group records scores, homework, and attendance. You can pause and restart inside the course validity.

They list four formats.

  • Private tutoring: 40 hours over 3 months, 15 full-length mocks, sectional tests, study material, and 6 months of portal access.
  • Classroom: 48 hours (24 classes), 15 full-length mocks including 7 official College Board mocks, sectional work, and unlimited doubt-clearing from 7 a.m. to midnight. Validity up to 1 year. Their comparison chart also counts 16 hours of in-class proctored mocks beyond the 48.
  • Live online: the same 48 hours and the same mock and doubt-clearing offer, with class recordings. Validity up to 1 year.
  • Self-paced: 48 hours of recorded classroom video, 15 full-length mocks, and 5 hours of one-on-one doubt-clearing. Validity up to 6 months.

The portal shows a score predictor, a performance matrix, accuracy, average time per question, and section stats. Fees are off the course page. You book a demo.

IMS Manya (The Princeton Review)

IMS Manya is the India partner of The Princeton Review, and the company dates that work to 2002. The current live-online SAT page is a batch, with mentoring added alongside. It is 44 hours of Math and Reading and Writing, 13 personal mentoring sessions (mock analysis, a study plan, strategy, and parent-teacher meetings), and 20 hours of masterclass: 16 hours of advanced training split evenly between Math and Reading and Writing, plus 4 hours of Bluebook discussion on 2 tests. Students also get 11 full-length adaptive mocks, 160 topic practice, Desmos training, The Princeton Review manual and a one-year portal, live sessions with US-based Princeton Review faculty, 2 admissions counselling sessions, and IELTS or TOEFL training at no added cost. You can pause and restart inside a one-year validity.

On 28 September 2026 the live-online page quoted batches at ₹47,000 or ₹60,000 before tax. GST is 18%, so those work out to ₹55,460 and ₹70,800. The October batches then on the page were the ₹60,000 ones. Weekday and weekend timings are fixed (for example Saturday 5–7 p.m. and Sunday 9–11 a.m.).

They also run classroom coaching and one-on-one. An older classroom page lists 42+ hours of instruction, 30 one-on-one myPlan sessions of 30 minutes each, 160 practice sets, and 17 full-length mocks (10 from The Princeton Review and 7 from College Board). The one-on-one page outlines a 30-hour Focus plan and a 50-hour Comprehensive plan. The one-on-one price depends on the city.

Their own score claims: one classroom page says 170 students added 251 points on average from the diagnostic to the real test, and the homepage says students can rise by up to 250 points. Those are the company’s figures.

Manhattan Review is a New York company. Prof. Dr. Joern Meissner started the courses in 1999. India classes share a menu that also covers the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, IELTS, TOEFL, and ACT. The books they stock are the Turbocharge Your SAT series.

For a student in India, read the price tag in dollars. That is how the site quotes it.

SATPrepIn

SATPrepIn is a Gurgaon institute that teaches the SAT. The class format is on best SAT prep classes, and other Gurgaon centres are on the Gurgaon coaching list. The coach is Shwetank Anand (SAT 1550, IIT Delhi). The class is organized around Prep ROI: score gain per hour. The full 1:1 program is about 35 hours. Concept first, then official questions, then the timing those questions demand. If Math is the section that is stuck, the same work is in how to raise an SAT Math score.

The same tutors remain for the whole program. They come from the IITs and NITs, and you get a free demo before anyone is signed on. Practice is built from official College Board questions, set for the current test. When a score has gone flat, the work is to pull those official items apart: what the question is scoring, and which wrong answer the student keeps marking. Students in India and Indian students in the US take the same kind of class. A US tutor at $50 to $100 an hour is the figure to beat. The self-study course is ₹3,999: 300+ video lessons, original questions, mock tests, and 1 year of MyCollegebook. A shorter crash course starts at ₹24,900. Classes are online, and the office is in Gurgaon.

What should you check before you pay?

Some institutes offer very high hours of classes as part of their course. SAT Curriculum is very limited and does not require those many hours. Students struggling to keep pace with Academic load and school activities should choose more condensed and effective programs. You may also want to check what your budget is. Most comprehensive courses should be under $1000 and Crash courses should be under $300.

Practicing on material outside of CollegeBoard’s is often a huge waste of time. Always ask what material is used by the program. It is also not uncommon to bait and switch tutors. So, the demo is taken by a pedigreed tutor, but then a junior tutor comes in after a few classes. Serious SAT prep should not be conflated with high school doubt-solving classes. Courses that offer significant number of hours will just have their tutors give out problems to solve in class, without spending the time and energy on actual prep that a standardized test such as SAT demands.
